Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) sub specialist - Rank/Track dependent on qualifications

About the role

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Utah Health Sciences is seeking a full-time board-eligible/board-certified Maternal-fetal Medicine (MFM) sub-specialist or MFM-Geneticist to join a successful academic division.

Responsibilities

• Interpret obstetric ultrasound
• Work in a multidisciplinary setting at the Grant Scott Bonham Fetal Center at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT
• Perform fetal intervention procedures (preferred)
• Expand the clinical, research, and/or education missions of the division
• Communicate and build teams
• Engage in productive interdepartmental and multidisciplinary interactions
• Provide outstanding clinical care

Requirements

• Demonstrated competence and experience in clinical Maternal-Fetal Medicine, obstetric ultrasound, and invasive fetal diagnostic procedures
• Special expertise in perinatal genetics and fetal diagnosis and intervention (encouraged)

Qualifications

• Board certification in Maternal-Fetal Medicine or MFM-Geneticist
• Experience performing fetal intervention procedures (preferred)
• Leadership in expanding the clinical, research, and/or education missions of the division
• Commitment to communication and team building
• Experience in a setting where fetal intervention procedures were performed (preferred)
