About the role
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Utah Health Sciences is seeking a full-time board-eligible/board-certified Maternal-fetal Medicine (MFM) sub-specialist or MFM-Geneticist to join a successful academic division.
Responsibilities
- Interpret obstetric ultrasound
- Work in a multidisciplinary setting at the Grant Scott Bonham Fetal Center at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT
- Perform fetal intervention procedures (preferred)
- Expand the clinical, research, and/or education missions of the division
- Communicate and build teams
- Engage in productive interdepartmental and multidisciplinary interactions
- Provide outstanding clinical care
Requirements
- Demonstrated competence and experience in clinical Maternal-Fetal Medicine, obstetric ultrasound, and invasive fetal diagnostic procedures
- Special expertise in perinatal genetics and fetal diagnosis and intervention (encouraged)
Qualifications
- Board certification in Maternal-Fetal Medicine or MFM-Geneticist
- Experience performing fetal intervention procedures (preferred)
- Leadership in expanding the clinical, research, and/or education missions of the division
- Commitment to communication and team building
- Experience in a setting where fetal intervention procedures were performed (preferred)
