About the role

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYU Langone Health Long Island is seeking highly skilled and passionate Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialists to join our thriving and growing MFM Faculty Group Practice at NYU Long Island.

Responsibilities

• Deliver approximately 5,000 births annually at NYU Long Island campus, with a collective delivery volume of over 17,000 births across NYU Langone Health system.
• Manage complex pregnancies affected by maternal medical conditions, fetal anomalies, and obstetric complications.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary network of specialists to ensure personalized, evidence-based treatment tailored to individual patient needs.
• Provide comprehensive, cutting-edge care to high-risk pregnant patients and their babies.
• Participate in all aspects of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine practice at NYU’s Long Island campus and affiliated practices, including ultrasound services, invasive diagnostic procedures, and MFM inpatient and outpatient consultations.

Requirements

• Candidate should be Board-certified or Board-eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine with credentials commensurate with faculty appointment at the assistant professor or associate professor level.
• Successful completion of a U.S.-accredited OB/GYN residency and MFM fellowship training program.
• A NY State Medical license.

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to academic medicine and patient care as well as fellow, resident, and medical student education.
• Experience in scholarly activity, with active trials, regular presentations at national meetings, and contributions to the scientific literature through peer-reviewed publications.
• Active involvement in the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, including participation in the AFCC and leadership roles in regional and national societies.
