Job Summary
You will lead the nursing teams in delivering exceptional patient care through dynamic educational programs, mentoring, and integrating best practices.
Responsibilities
- Affirms and implements educational and professional development programs as per CHI Health nursing division and campus leadership.
- Serves as a role model, clinical nursing expert, change agent, mentor, and leader to the campus and CHI Health nursing division.
- Consults on organizational, divisional, and system initiatives and program development related to nursing practice.
- Seeks out and applies evidence-based practices to enhance clinical excellence and education.
- Provides clinical expertise and leadership in quality improvement initiatives.
- Coordinates and facilitates nursing transitions to practice and ongoing professional development through support of central onboarding, clinical orientation, nurse residency, fellowships, competency assessment, and preceptor and mentor programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Nursing (BSN), upon hire and Master of Nursing (MSN), upon hire or completion of MSN program within 5 years of start date, upon hire and Nursing education experience demonstrating progressive experience in the development and implementation of clinical education programs.
- Minimum three years relevant nursing experience.
- Registered Nurse (RN), upon hire and Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire.
