Maternal Child Educator RN

Job Summary

You will lead the nursing teams in delivering exceptional patient care through dynamic educational programs, mentoring, and integrating best practices.

Responsibilities

• Affirms and implements educational and professional development programs as per CHI Health nursing division and campus leadership.
• Serves as a role model, clinical nursing expert, change agent, mentor, and leader to the campus and CHI Health nursing division.
• Consults on organizational, divisional, and system initiatives and program development related to nursing practice.
• Seeks out and applies evidence-based practices to enhance clinical excellence and education.
• Provides clinical expertise and leadership in quality improvement initiatives.
• Coordinates and facilitates nursing transitions to practice and ongoing professional development through support of central onboarding, clinical orientation, nurse residency, fellowships, competency assessment, and preceptor and mentor programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Nursing (BSN), upon hire and Master of Nursing (MSN), upon hire or completion of MSN program within 5 years of start date, upon hire and Nursing education experience demonstrating progressive experience in the development and implementation of clinical education programs.
• Minimum three years relevant nursing experience.
• Registered Nurse (RN), upon hire and Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire.
