Materials/ Warehouse Yard Coordinator

About the role

The Warehouse Yard Coordinator is responsible for the movement of all trailers and the coordination of all materials from trailers to production. This position serves as the main contact between drivers and warehouse teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all trailer movements within the warehouse yard and the plant, according to QAD replenishment requirements
• Ensure to fulfill QAD replenishment orders on time
• Completing material transactions on computer systems and scanners
• Maintain QAD replenishment system updated according to locations and storage parameters
• Receive material as required
• Cookordinate the material picking and putting away within supermarket warehouses
• Serve as the main contact for switching drivers; coordinate with warehouse teams; escalate issues
• Learn and follow all applicable policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently with minimal instructions
• Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks in a timely manner
• Strong team player with ability to interact with all functional areas
• Experience using MRP systems
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with computer applications
• 2+ years experience in assembly/manufacturing warehouse, stockroom setting preferred
• 1+ years production control experience preferred
• Automotive manufacturing experience preferred

Monday - Friday, 5pm - 5am
