Materials Technician - Per Diem

About the role

Our inpatient rehabilitation hospital is committed to providing exceptional and compassionate care to best address the medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges for individuals with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Materials Manager in the departmental operations.
• Receives all deliveries and inspects items for damage or defects.
• Verifies completeness and accuracy of all deliveries and alerts the departments (buyers) of any discrepancies.
• Maintains updated Material Safety Data Sheet manual of items handled through and stocked in Stores.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years previous storeroom/shipping and receiving experience preferred.
• Post‑offer employment testing (POETs) must be completed as part of onboarding before the first day of work.

Schedule

Per Diem / PRN: 2 weekends a month, Saturday & Sunday 7 am‑3 pm or 8 am‑4 pm (weekday coverage as needed).

Pay

$21.00 hourly.
