Materials Technician

About the Role

The Materials Technician performs shipping, receiving, and inventory management duties within a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Replenish and deliver medical supplies to various units and off-site locations
• Assist with stock organization and participate in inventory counts
• Investigate inventory discrepancies
• Manage department equipment and returns
• Prepare materials for delivery
• Handle mail and correspondence
• Maintain clean and organized warehouse areas
• Support department vehicles and equipment

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 6 months of experience in a materials or healthcare environment
• Familiarity with material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and dock lifts
• Ability to operate small commercial vehicles with lift gates
• Computer literacy
• Physical ability to lift up to 45 lbs, work at heights, and stand or walk for extended periods
