Materials Supervisor

About the role

Supervise the execution of material purchasing, material planning, production planning, inventory control, shipping/receiving and stores functions within Resideo. Operate within the existing material control systems and provide guidance to direct reports on clearly defined objectives. Manage the team to meet the customers' needs in terms of delivery, inventory, cost, and quality. Build up team capability and lead continuous improvements. Ensure materials are well scheduled, evaluated, and accurately delivered on time, every time. Continuously improve material management processes to drive better business results. Empower team members to achieve clients' objectives by hiring the right people, developing, coaching, and retaining top talent.

Responsibilities

• Lead team to meet metrics
• Develop and optimize material management procedures
• Improve Resideo operating system maturity
• Health, safety, and environment compliance
• Manage facility supply requirements
• Engage in new production introduction (NPI) activities
• Manage compliance in adherence to the business excellence requirements of the organization
• Anual cost and target reduction
• Coach and develop team to consistently attain any metrics
• Facilitate and direct associate training modules upon hire
• Complete time keeping for the team
• Responsible for the application of appropriate corrective action for performance, attendance, and safety protocols

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Supervisory role
• 5+ years of experience in a shipping/distribution center setting
• 8+ years of experience working with WMS systems and/or Microsoft Excel
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Qualifications

You must have experience working with Oracle/ADP for timekeeping purposes, distribution experience within a retail customer-centric organization, ability to motivate team members and drive results, ability to lead/drive change, and influence others, knowledge in Sigma or lean management, and experience in Materials management.

The typical hiring salary for this role, ranges from USD $75480.0 to $128520.0 per year but varies by specific work location. Within a range, our company determines base pay for an individual based on various factors, including market conditions, skills, and experience.
