We are seeking an experienced Senior Material Planner to support new customer program launches across a global manufacturing network of 72 plants. This role serves as the key link between customers, manufacturing plants, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure successful onboarding of new programs and smooth production ramp-ups.
About the role
This position focuses on products such as racks, cabinets, mounts, and related assemblies rather than individual electronic components.
Responsibilities
- Partner with customers and manufacturing plants to onboard new programs and support successful product launches.
- Analyze demand and develop material plans to support production schedules.
- Review and maintain ERP planning parameters, item master data, and planning attributes.
- Validate BOM structures and ensure alignment with manufacturing requirements.
- Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and implementation plans.
- Monitor material availability, resolve shortages, and support production execution.
- Release and manage work orders while ensuring planning accuracy.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to meet customer requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement of planning processes across global manufacturing sites.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of material planning, production planning, or supply chain planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Oracle, SAP, or similar ERP systems.
- Strong knowledge of MRP, BOM management, ECO implementation, and production planning.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in contract manufacturing or high-mix manufacturing environments.
- Experience supporting multiple manufacturing sites.
- Oracle Rapid Response (Kinaxis) experience.
- APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP, etc.).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
