Materials Planner

About the role

The Materials Planner will play a key role in managing inventory levels, coordinating supply chain activities, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials to support manufacturing operations in Ayer. This role is essential in maintaining smooth production processes in the industrial and manufacturing sector.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess inventory.
• Cook with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Develop and implement material planning strategies to support production schedules.
• Work closely with procurement and supply chain teams to optimize processes and reduce lead times.
• Maintain accurate records of materials and supply chain activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production and operational goals.

Requirements

• Experience with material planning and supply chain management in the industrial or manufacturing sector.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills to manage inventory and forecast needs.
