Materials Planner

Role Responsibilities

• Cook with production planning, operations, engineering, purchasing, and quality to attain production goals.
• Provide materials for short-term and long-term production plans.
• Highlight materials constraints, assess impacts, and communicate them.
• Take appropriate actions in line with global policy.
• Manage inventory levels for packaging changes and ensure availability for innovation projects.
• Communicate needs and timing to vendors and resolve capacity issues by prioritizing scheduling and suggestions.
• Implement best practice standards and drive adoption.
• Provide insight and analysis on changing material trends and demand patterns.
• Work with Operations to determine, research, and correct material inventory discrepancies and their causes.
• Responsible for the development, creation, and communication of various S&OP reports.
• Support and/or lead ad hoc projects and analyses, as requested.

Qualifications

• A 4-year college degree preferred or relevant experience considered.
• Strong MS Excel skills.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant planning/project management, preferably within the food/beverage industry.
• SAP and/or MRP-driven system experience preferred.
• APICS certification preferred.
• Analytically inclined - able to merge large data sets, analyze data, synthesize business insight, and clearly communicate findings.
• A Problem Solver - applies critical-thinking skills to generate, evaluate, and implement solutions.
• A Change Agile - Successfully adapts to changing situations, manages ambiguity in the function/role.
• A Collaborative across cross-functional teams.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $75,000 - $95,000 annually, along with an annual bonus, 401K match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits. The salary range is commensurate with the candidate’s location, experience, and skillset. While relocation, immigration, and/or tax compliance support are not guaranteed, we may offer assistance to successful candidates depending on factors such as role requirements in accordance with company guidelines.
