Materials Planner

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with customers and manufacturing plants to onboard new programs and support successful product launches.
• Analyze demand and develop material plans to support production schedules.
• Review and maintain ERP planning parameters, item master data, and planning attributes.
• Validate BOM structures and ensure alignment with manufacturing requirements.
• Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and implementation plans.
• Monitor material availability, resolve shortages, and support production execution.
• Release and manage work orders while ensuring planning accuracy.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to meet customer requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement of planning processes across global manufacturing sites.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of material planning, production planning, or supply chain planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Oracle, SAP, or similar ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of MRP, BOM management, ECO implementation, and production planning.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Preferred Experience

• In contract manufacturing or high-mix manufacturing environments.
• Experience supporting multiple manufacturing sites.
• Oracle Rapid Response (Kinaxis) experience.
• APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP, etc.).
