Materials Manager

Job Summary

The Materials Manager is responsible for managing the inventory of medical supplies, supporting the surgical team, and ensuring compliance with facility policies.

Responsibilities

• Orders and maintains all medical inventory.
• Performs quarterly inventory accounting.
• Checks in all supplies upon arrival, delivers them to the correct location, and ensures accurate paperwork.
• Adheres to Center policies and demonstrates fiscal responsibility.
• Fulfills requests for medical equipment and supplies, and coordinates repairs and replacements.
• Communicates effectively with the surgical team and other staff members.
• Facilitates utility management and understands facility maintenance.
• Works closely with the Nurse Manager and Administrator, keeping them informed of daily issues.
• Ensures timely submission of invoices to the Billing Office.
• Assists in the operating room as needed.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CST certification or six months of relevant experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Demonstrated clinical competency.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience in materials management in an OR setting.

Qualifications

Pay

$33.52 - $41.07/hour
