Materials Manager (1157925)

Location: Savannah, GA Salary: $100,000.00 USD Annually - $120,000.00 USD Annually Description We are seeking an experienced Materials Manager in Georgia, about 90 miles from Savannah. Responsibilities Lead production scheduling to maximize operational efficiency and meet customer demand.Manage inventory planning, storage, warehousing, and distribution of raw materials and critical supplies.Oversee shipping, receiving, and material movement activities.Monitor inventory levels, forecasts, and production requirements to ensure material availability.Partner with planning, procurement, quality, and product development teams on material and product changes.Manage supplier relationships and evaluate supplier performance related to quality, cost, and delivery.Oversee local purchasing of maintenance, repair, and operating (MRO) materials.Maintain supplier agreements and supporting documentation.Identify opportunities to improve materials flow, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related is preferred but not required. 8+ years of experience in materials management, inventory control, or operations leadership.Experience with ERP systemsStrong knowledge of inventory control, production planning, warehousing, shipping, and procurement.5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment; consumer packaged goods preferred Detail-oriented with strong analytical and record-keeping abilities.
