Position Summary/ Objectives
The Materials Management Lead will prepare finished products for order fulfillment, coordinate sterilization of finished products, and maintain returned finished goods system. This position supports the strategic and operational objectives of the business, ensuring solid execution of company programs.
Essential Job Functions
- Receive and unload incoming materials, compare information on packing slips with purchase orders, and inspect shipments for damages or defects.
- Sort, count, package, label, unpack, and log inventory which is shipped or received.
- Deliver materials and supplies to requisitioning departments, run daily “Below Safety Stock” reports, and replenish supplies as needed.
- Lead and train associates in receiving practices, ship products to sterilization, create purchase orders, and coordinate sterilization of finished products.
- Prepare documentation for sterilization, check finished products against documentation, and store finished goods in the warehouse.
- Perform cycle counts of finished and non-finished products, maintain returned goods system, requisition and store shipping materials and supplies, and ensure accurate inventory counts.
- Adhere to daily production schedule, make recommendations for optimizing the schedule, and assist with various special ad hoc projects.
- Absorb and resolve any issues relating to the product, process, and quality system, and initiate action to prevent nonconformities.

Physical Demands
- Stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, talk or hear.
- Lift or move office products and supplies up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Manages shipping, receiving, and materials management staff.
Education, Experience and Certification
- Minimum of an Associate Degree and 2 years’ experience in similar position or minimum 5 years of experience in similar position.
- Knowledge of cGMP and ISO 13485 is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong communications and writing skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office software applications (MS Word and MS Excel).
- Experience in ERP/MRP systems desired.
Other Duties as Required
- Assist with various special ad hoc projects.

Salary Range
$28.00-$32.00 per hour
