Materials Management Clerk Per Diem

Kindred Hospital Las Vegas – Flamingo and Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) is a 78-bed hospital with 66 long-term acute care hospital (LTACH) beds. The ARU has 12 private rooms and offers 24-hour clinical care seven days a week. Located less than 4 miles east of I-15 off of Flamingo Road, it is conveniently situated within walking distance of shops and restaurants.

Job Summary

Maintains the stock room and is responsible for the receipt and distribution of supplies.

Essential Functions

• Assists with supply check-in and verifies against purchase order.
• Forwards purchase orders and packing slips to Accounts Payable.
• Distributes supplies to appropriate location.
• Maintains a cost requisition system.
• Affirms that the stock room is clean, safe, and orderly.
• Obtains data on chargeable supplies used by each patient and transfers the information into the computer system for billing.
• Assists with physical inventory.
• Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company's Code of Business Conduct, its policies and procedures, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of all patient and/or employee information to assure patient and/or employee rights are protected.
• Understands the principles of growth and development for the entire lifespan and ability to provide care appropriate for adult and geriatric patients as appropriate to the patient population.
• Ability to communicate in English effectively through verbal and written means to the extent necessary to perform job duties appropriately. Reading and comprehension at level necessary to perform job duties appropriately.
• Ability to work under stress and to respond quickly in emergency situations. Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team.
• Demonstrates good interpersonal skills when working or interacting with patients, their families and other staff members.

Pay Range

$15.00-$19.02/hr.
