Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
This position has a requirement to lift up to 45 lbs. in the regular performance of duties.
This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter.
This positions requires a valid state driver's license.
This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.

Duties

Spot conveyance at proper loading locations;
opens seals and doors;
tallies in stock;
palletizes;
assembles in temporary warehousing area.
Receive stock from assembly area or direct movement of stock from various warehouses, determining appropriate hold locations for assembling shipping items.
Pack, unpack, sort, stack warehouses, bins, and move items;
makes in-storage checks for obvious need for maintenance, vermin control, and damage, reporting findings and serious damages to supervisor for action.
Determine whether materials are durable, expendable, or non-expendable and identifies property items that require bar coding under the automated inventory system.
