Materials Handler

Location: Hays, KS (Agiliti Hays KS Branch).

About the role

Locate and deliver product parts to/from storage and work stations; Assist in maintaining inventory levels; Maintains a safe working environment; contributes to team effort.

Responsibilities

• Pull orders from inventory and deliver production materials and supplies to/from storage and work stations; identify, label, and place materials and supplies in stock.
• Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying items listed on production orders.
• Maintain in‑process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
• Assist in compiling and maintaining inventory; document units delivered and locations; verify codes, lot numbers, and quantities; place materials in stock.
• Maintain a safe working environment by attending safety training; turning off and locking out equipment not in use; cleaning and maintaining a clean work area; adhering to ISO and FDA regulations.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to overall company success.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills (normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent).
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Beginning to working knowledge of subject matter.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to follow instructions to read work orders to determine work assignments or materials/equipment needs.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time; up to 66% of day.
• Ability to become qualified to perform Lock‑Out/Tag‑Out procedures.

Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0‑2 years experience.
