Materials Handler 1 - Shipping (3rd Shift)

About the role

The Material Handler I supports the After Sales operation, handling tasks such as receiving and sorting inbound packages, stocking and replenishing supplies, preparing merchandise for shipment, and managing an organized warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Receives and sorts inbound packages for each department in First in First out order
• Stocks and replenishes supplies
• Finishes tasks in a timely manner assigned by the Leadership Team
• Prepares merchandise for shipment
• Responsible for recycling of discard items with the after sales department
• Performs any additional duties assigned by the NAASC Leadership Team

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent mathematical aptitude/numerical recognition
• Ability to interact professionally with all personnel
• Clear and efficient communication skills
• Ability to use material handling equipment: walkie riders, order pickers, etc.
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as requested by Supervisors/Managers
• Ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to work in a stand/walk position for up to 10 hours

Qualifications

• Ability to train on small material handling equipment

Pay
