Materials Engineering Lab Technician

Job Description

Position is primarily responsible for performing laboratory testing, operating engineering test equipment, and collecting, analyzing, and documenting test data to support product development and validation activities. Position will also be responsible for setting up, calibrating, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing laboratory equipment and test stands while supporting laboratory procedures, quality initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Experience working in an engineering, manufacturing, quality, materials, vibration, or product testing laboratory is required!
• Experience setting up, operating, troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining laboratory test equipment and test stands is required!
• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience assembling fixtures, installing equipment, troubleshooting hardware, and supporting product testing is required!
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple testing assignments independently is required!
• Experience collecting, analyzing, documenting, and reporting laboratory test data is required!
• High school diploma or equivalent is required, Associate's degree or technical certification in a related field is preferred!
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is preferred!

Pay range starts at $25-30+/hr!
