Materials Coordinator

About the Role

This position requires extensive knowledge of Materials Management functions. The role is responsible for purchasing all supplies and equipment, as well as handling repairs for equipment and the environment. Additionally, the position involves daily billing of all supplies and products.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire Materials Management function in the Cardiovascular Interventional Lab.
• Coordinate the purchasing function for all CVIL procedures, including vendor interviews, assisting with contract development, placing, receiving, and expediting orders.
• Maintain department inventory databases and implement ongoing development and maintenance of the automated inventory (IMMS) and ACCESS programs.
• Maintain all revenue collections by submitting billing on a daily basis and assessing procedure and equipment charges.
• Perform cost analysis of products and carry out product conversions as part of Cardiology Performance Improvement.
• Comply with Medical Device Safety Protocols by coordinating tracking efforts on implantable products according to FDA guidelines.
• Perform related duties as required.

Qualifications

• Required:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in the materials/purchasing discipline.
  • Extensive knowledge of Materials Management functions and computer experience with ACCESS, EXCEL, WORD, and/or other similar programs.
• Preferred:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Pay

$17.72 - $34.56 per hour. Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.
