Materials Coordinator- 2nd Shift (Level Depends on Experience)

This is an onsite position located in our Lebanon, NH manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Review material positions at all manufacturing Kan/Ban replenishment points
• Deliver material required on a daily basis based on Kan/Ban locations
• Move finished goods from work cell to finished goods stock locations
• Deliver material between buildings as required
• Perform transactions to guarantee accuracy
• Perform cycle counts
• Perform miscellaneous other materials activities
• Expedite material shortages for production floor with Purchasing
• Support ECO changes and cut-in strategies for changes
• Provide build kits to the production floor
• Support training of co-workers
• Support material needs for shipments
• May be assigned other tasks as needed

Requirements

• Ability to multitask
• Minimum of 1 - 2 years of related experience
• Knowledge of BOM structure and MRP
• Customer service mentality
• Knowledge of manufacturing business practices preferred
• Ability to be flexible with changes
• High School Diploma or GED
• Service-oriented mentality
• Detail oriented
• Good oral and written communications
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers
• Ability to project a positive and customer-responsive image
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with individuals within and outside the organization
• Poise, tact, and diplomacy
• Basic math skills

Physical Demands

• Standing or walking 75% of the day
• Moderate lifting
• Travel between buildings required

Work Environment

The role requires performing job functions in a light industrial setting and a cleanroom-manufacturing environment. May potentially handle hazardous waste in accordance with safe work practices defined in Hazardous Communication and Hazardous Waste training programs. Initial training is required upon hiring and every 3 years thereafter.

• Ensure waste containers in work areas are properly labeled and dated
• Ensure waste containers are closed after transferring waste to them
• Report any incidents involving hazardous waste to supervisor
