Materials Associate

Responsibilities

• receiving product
• delivering departmental supplies
• stocking inventoried supplies
• picking and staging supplies to fill par levels and departmental orders
• managing out-dates
• accurately and timely managing code carts and other critical procedure carts replenishment
• locating recalled items and process for return shipment
• maintaining departmental orderliness
• rotating stock
• cycle counting inventory
• annual physical inventory
• all other duties assigned

Shift Details

5:00am-1:30pm, alternating weekends

Job Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Handle storeroom equipment
• Able to operate a hand pallet jack
• Able to utilize various electronic devices for order taking
• May also be asked, from time to time, to work at other SLHS CS locations

Qualifications

• Proficient math skills
• Great communication skills – written and oral
• Able to adapt to and become knowledgeable of numerous software applications
• Ability to learn hospital supply terms
• Operate successfully with minimal supervision
