Materials Associate

Essential Job Functions

• Supports with accepting, verifying, and entering receipts for all shipments.
• Aids in package counts to ensure accuracy and acceptability of shipments; follows refusal protocols if necessary.
• Inventories, reorders, pulls, restocks, rotates inventory, and checks expiration dates for areas of responsibility.
• Ensures verification of receipt of inbound supplies, outbound shipment processing, data entry, and restocking within specified time frames as assigned to meet department/patient needs.
• Helps expedite products to respective areas and/or storage locations.
• Updates and maintains par levels as necessary, adjusts par forms and labels as mandated.
• Supports with obtaining signatures for deliveries and documents reasons for non-deliveries.
• Ensures inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and electronic supply replenishment.
• Supports with maintaining a safe work area, securing equipment, and keeping the area free of clutter.
• Aids in sorting and distributing clean and soiled linens to replenish par levels as required for daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Service-related experience or prior job experience.
