Materials Assistant Manager

About the role

The Materials Assistant Manager oversees the material flow process, establishes supplier release procedures, and ensures finished goods inventory levels meet customer requirements. The Materials Associate is responsible for managing inventory, directing ERP system applications, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the material flow process.
• Establish and maintain supplier release procedure and supplier banking requirements.
• Establish and monitor finished goods inventory levels.
• Review department/plant measurables and establish corrective measures.
• Provide leadership to subordinates for individual and group development.
• Achieve daily, monthly, and annual team targets.
• Adhere to yearly budget and carry out the plan to meet that budget.
• Align Innovation team to forecast and reduce labor expense.
• Forecast, track, and escalate as necessary.
• Responsible for establishing and promoting a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or business.
• 3-5 years of experience in materials planning.
• Occasional international travel required.
• Must demonstrate proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
• Bilingual Korean/English proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing.
