Responsibilities
- Cook up the flow of materials in multiple departments of the factory and make sure the production staff have the parts they need to churn out the desired products.
- Coordinate all activities for the tactical execution of the production plan within the factory.
- Leverage the critical shortage reports to ensure part availability.
- Schedule production parts leveraging factory capacity and line constraints.
- Understand the base machine routings for a specific department along with the lead times to the consuming department.
- Participate in ensuring operations can maintain a sequence percentage of above 95% and works to drive root cause corrective action on all sequence hits.
- Oversee and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Provide support to meet all production schedules including complete goods, inter-factory, and service parts.
- Work with material flow teams in establishing root cause for material shortages along with proposing corrective actions.
- Cook up and communicate the implementation of engineering and material changes.
- Aid the production department in manpower planning relative to upcoming demand requirements.
- Communicate and interface with manufacturing management, manufacturing engineering, wage workforce, and material flow support team.
Skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and competing priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in operations/material flow/production planning role in a manufacturing environment.
- SAP experience with production planning and/or Materials Management.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Available to work off hours or weekends occasionally based on business needs.
- Strong data analysis skills.
- Experience with Excel.

Qualifications
- Education: Ideally, a degree or equivalent related work experience in a Business/Management, Engineering/Technology, Supply Management, or Accounting/Finance discipline.
