What You Will Do
- Proactively compile, monitor, and manage Collaborative Planning reports to ensure adequate stocking levels and recognize shortages and deficiencies, supporting customers in maintenance, planning, and operations.
- Manage urgent complex customer requirements from maintenance, planning, and operations, communicating and expediting to GSC Shared Services.
- Collaborate with assigned customer departments in maintenance, planning, and operations to understand, document, validate, and meet requirements.
- Obtain quotes from key suppliers using parts information from customers in maintenance, planning, and operations, monitor supplier performance, and lead supplier evaluations.
- Train and lead reconciliation of consumables at month end, utilizing accounting and SOX control knowledge to ensure compliance with financial requirements.
- Analyze data to perform root cause analysis on issues impacting inventory performance and implement corrective actions.
- Communicate master data changes and additions (MARS) to appropriate groups such as BOM, equipment, and material master data on behalf of the customer.
- Ensure adherence and guide customers to General Accounting Principles (GAAP), financial laws (SEC), Company policies, internal controls (SOX), and Principles of Business Conduct (PBC).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring To Freeport
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in Supply Chain, Business, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field, OR
- High School Diploma/GED and seven (7) years of experience in Supply Chain, Business, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Skilled in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SAP, Systems Applications and Products in Data Processing.
- Comfortable with public speaking and presenting data to large groups.
- Organizing data and communicating with vendors/suppliers.
What We Offer You
- The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $73,500-$101,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits, or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills, and other job-related factors.
- This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
