What You Will Do

  • Develop and maintain production schedules to support customer demand and operational requirements.
  • Cook up material requirements and ensure the timely availability of approved materials to meet production schedules.
  • Mind material availability, identify shortages, and mitigate risks to minimize disruptions to operations.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Procurement, Engineering, Inventory Control, and Logistics to resolve supply chain issues.
  • Review and maintain master production schedules and recommend improvements to planning processes.
  • Prepare and analyze production and inventory reports to identify performance issues and drive corrective actions.
  • Liaise with suppliers to verify shipment status and expedite deliveries to support schedule commitments.
  • Cook up material movement through stock transfers, move orders, and shipping requests to ensure efficient flow.
  • Support Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) activities by analyzing demand, inventory, and capacity requirements.
  • Develop metrics, presentations, and recovery plans for leadership while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) processes.
  • Knowledge of production scheduling, inventory management, and capacity planning.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced knowledge of SAP tools and transactions.
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
