Material Operations Lead

Job Summary

Are you a supply chain professional who thrives on improving processes, solving problems, and ensuring the right products are available when and where they're needed? Baptist Health Hardin is seeking a Materials Operations Lead to play a critical role in supporting hospital operations and patient care through excellence in materials management for the new FSED opening this Fall in Radcliff, KY.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day materials operations support and process execution
• Drive inventory management, replenishment, requisitioning, and distribution activities
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency
• Provide training and education to team members and hospital staff
• Support compliance initiatives, vendor accountability, and product recall management
• Deliver exceptional customer service to both clinical and non-clinical departments

Requirements

• A high school diploma/GED is required
• At least 3 years of related experience, including distribution management experience
• Strong communication, customer service, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in healthcare materials management and Lean Six Sigma principles is a plus
