Material Mover

Location: Williamsport, PA

Overview

Transport and distribute material (supplies, documentation, piece parts, and/or work‑in‑process assemblies) within the facility as required to manufacture products across all product groups and work centers.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently transport/distribute material to and from all manufacturing and support departments.
• Ensure material is secure during transport to prevent injury and/or damage.
• Verify documentation for each item is clear and complete before moving to the next department, including required initials or signatures.
• Follow designated route map and schedule to meet facility needs.
• Prepare materials for production per instructions from stockroom personnel.
• Perform complete and accurate cycle counts of all stock materials as required annually.
• Inbound all materials from the inspection department and transfer them to the correct stockroom location on a regular basis.
• Support stockroom personnel as needed or directed by the team lead with additional tasks.
• Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Follow all security and safety instructions.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a computer.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products is preferred.
• Strong numerical skills and ability to perform repetitive counting.
• Ability to follow work instructions for subsequent process steps.
• Capable of lifting up to 40–50 pounds when required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
