Material Management Associate

Responsibilities

• Primarily responsible for receiving, shipping and other warehouse functions and processes (e.g. inventory cycle count, maintaining & ordering shipping supplies, record keeping, organize warehouse & maintain cleanliness, etc.) to meet departmental schedules, committed timelines and legal requirements while making sure that the work meets cGMP, quality and safety compliance.
• Receiving & verifying the purchased goods against purchase order and shipping documents, process the paperwork and complete all necessary transactions.
• Stage/ deliver received items to the appropriate location/ personnel and inform the person who has ordered that item(s) as need be.
• Inspects shipment/ freight upon receipt, document any signs of damage/ quality or quantity discrepancies and inform the supervising authorities.
• Work with purchasing department to resolve quantity discrepancies observed against purchase order.
• Assemble out-going shipments, prepare shipping documentation and co-ordinate with third-party carriers like UPS, FedEx to arrange for timely pick-up and delivery.
• Share the tracking information of the shipment to the requester team member regarding the shipment delivery status
