About the role
The Unit Manager will supervise employees and provide leadership to attain plant and Material Handling objectives.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize multiple demands and distribute resources accordingly.
- Take initiative in the work area and inspire others to do the same.

- Assume accountability for the team’s performance.
- Demonstrate leadership and interpersonal skills, and an understanding of manufacturing operations.
- Effectively interact with employees, peers, and all levels of management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred.
- 4+ years of relevant experience required, experience in Manufacturing preferred.
- Application of problem solving tools such as fish bone, 5 why, root cause pareto diagrams.
- Ability to lead by example and drive key metrics in safety, on-time delivery, shortage reduction, cost.
- Knowledge and experience in lean material flow to a production line.
- Engage in effective communication and organizational skills.
- Completion of; or currently engaged in a four year college degree in business or related field preferred.
- Eight+ years of previous supervisory experience, or demonstrated leadership ability.
- Experience with Supply Chain and Logistics tools and techniques and understanding of how the parts work together as a system.
- Understanding of general materials metrics, materials flow, and inventory measures.
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus.

The salary range for this position is $80,800 - $111,200 annually.
