Material Handling Manager

Responsibilities

• Ensure the Nucor Steel Arkansas Team delivers on our commitment to become the world’s safest steel company.
• Build a capable and motivated team that can achieve the operational performance necessary to meet commercial objectives.
• Establish a clear vision and strategy and empower their team to execute and meet all objectives in safety, quality, costs, productivity, profitability, and environmental.
• Work collaboratively with other Nucor entities to ensure the most reliable and cost-effective logistics solution for the enterprise.

Requirements

• Five years of leadership/supervisor experience in steel and/or manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Material handling experience with a thorough understanding of shipping/traffic logistics, inventory management, and associated processes.
