Material Handler-YAKIMA

About the role

Alexandria Moulding, an SBP Brand, is currently looking for a Material Handler to join our VALUES-based organization.

Responsibilities

• Receive, pick, stage load or return correct warehouse items using equipment as required
• Use automated picker machines to select and move units as available
• Read production work orders and scan and stage material accordingly. Inspect for accuracy.
• Use equipment to load product on delivery trucks when required
• Move any damaged or non-conforming items to the appropriate area for reclaim or return to vendor
• Use of sit-down or standup forklift, swing-reach and/or order picker required as well as maintenance of appropriate certification
• Perform daily inspections of powered industrial equipment and report maintenance issues to supervisor
• View orders or product in inventory system to assist with daily tasks and troubleshoot issues
• Conduct all activities in a safe manner, adhering to company safety standards
• Meet standards for quality as set forth by the company by inspecting product as received, pulled and/or loaded
• Assure proper housekeeping and organization on the docks and warehouse aisles

Qualifications

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience: Four plus years related experience and previous certifications on powered industrial trucks.

Skills & Abilities

• Use of computers required

Certifications

Certified on one of the following pieces of equipment:

• Order picker
• Forklift (Stand-up or Sit down)
• Swing-Reach
• Scissor Lift

Pay

$18.00-19.00 per hour

Schedule

3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
