About the role
Ryder is hiring a Stand Up Forklift Operator in Sturtevant, Wisconsin. This position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
- Auditing, staging, and loading/unloading of products and trucks.
- Handling day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
- Providing technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during production hours.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience.
- Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Ability to work within a diverse work environment.
- High degree of accuracy, even under pressure.
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
Qualifications
- Preferred: One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience.
- Preferred: Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
- Preferred: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred: Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Preferred: Ability to work within a diverse work environment.

Pay
- Weekly Pay: $21.50 per hour.
- Shift Premium: $1.00 for second shift.
- Pay Increase: $0.75 after 6 months of employment.
Schedule
- Second Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm.
