Material Handler Warehouse Forklift

About the role

Ryder is hiring a Stand Up Forklift Operator in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. The position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career opportunity in a safe and modern supply chain environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Auditing, staging, and loading/unloading of products and trucks
• Handling day-to-day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.
• Providing technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core production hours
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work within a diverse work environment
• Punctuality and good attendance record
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods

Qualifications

• Preferred: One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience
• Preferred: Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Preferred: Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Preferred: Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Preferred: Ability to work within a diverse work environment
• Preferred: Punctuality and good attendance record
• Preferred: Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods

Pay

Weekly pay with additional pay for second shift and raises after six and twelve months of employment.

Schedule

Sunday - Tuesday: 4:00pm - 4:00am
Wednesday: 6 hour shifts alternating between 4:00pm - 10:00pm and 10:00pm - 4:00am
