About the role

We are accepting resumes for Material Handlers and Material Handlers who want to become CDL-licensed delivery drivers. This role involves delivering building materials using a company vehicle, requiring heavy lifting and adherence to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist yard personnel in pulling, staging, and loading inter-company orders, as well as receiving materials.
• Operate yard equipment, including forklifts, safely and efficiently.
• Expedite loading and unloading of customer and company vehicles.
• Follow customer order instructions, including maps and materials, according to delivery sequence.
• Ensure timely and efficient delivery to customers and jobsites.
• Complete pre-jobsite assessments before unloading company trucks at jobsites.
• Deliver materials to jobsites and customers safely and efficiently, following established safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Must have a valid CDL driver’s license and clean driving record or a valid CDL permit with a clean driving record and interest in company-sponsored training.
• Career goals of becoming a CDL driver, a valid driver’s license, and ability to complete company-sponsored training while working as a material handler.
