Material Handler/Parts Warehouse Technician

About the role

The role combines material handling operations with comprehensive parts warehouse management. The position is responsible for coordinating incoming/outgoing loads, managing material master data, and sourcing parts while ensuring strict compliance with quality, safety, and accounting standards. Additionally, this role supports maintenance activities through parts identification, preventative maintenance assistance, and equipment staging.

Responsibilities

• Cooking and serving meals to guests in a restaurant setting
• Coordinating incoming/outgoing loads
• Managing material master data
• Sourcing parts
• Ensuring strict compliance with quality, safety, and accounting standards
• Supporting maintenance activities through parts identification, preventative maintenance assistance, and equipment staging

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2-year degree in Business or Industrial Maintenance preferred
• 5+ years of material moving/forklift operation
• 3+ years in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Forklift certification required
• Training in rigging for complex lifts is essential
• Systems proficiency in SAP, eMaint, and Microsoft Office

Qualifications

• Ability to multi-task and communicate professionally with team members
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and hazardous material handling
• Thorough knowledge of industry, equipment, and parts
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to operate cars, trucks, forklifts and other powered equipment and tools
• Ability to use respirators with knowledge of chemicals
• Use of required personal protective equipment in the manufacturing environment
