Material Handler-Overnights (FHN)
About the role

Responsibilities
- Picking Responsibilities: Using a pallet jack to accurately pick orders to fulfill client demands, efficiently and accurately picking products and staging in the appropriate areas, stacking, packaging, banding, shrinking wrapping, and labeling products as determined by client requirements.
- Quality Control Responsibilities: Ensuring all products and orders are received, handled, and shipped correctly using appropriate documentation, verifying products and/or orders meet quality standards, reporting any damages or discrepancies, stacking, packaging, shrinking wrapping, and labeling products.
- Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance: Executing all safety protocols, maintaining a clean, neat, orderly work area, complying with all Standard Operating Procedures, corporate and site-specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/SDS Standards.
- Equipment Operation: Operating all equipment in a safe and efficient manner and following prescribed work methods, reporting equipment problems, and performing or assisting in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education and Experience: Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Certifications, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations: None required.
- Physical Demands: Occasional handling/fingering, sitting, bending, walking, standing, reaching above shoulder, reaching outward, squatting, kneeling, lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds, pushing/pulling.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Computer Skills: None required.
- Language Skills: English (reading, writing, verbal).
- Mathematical Skills: Basic to intermediate level for verifying quantities of product, counting inventory, or performing other duties associated with handling, storing, and distributing client products.
- Other: Strong attention to detail, accuracy, ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance, ability to effectively adapt to change, thrive in a stimulating, fast-paced work environment.
