Material Handler- Night Shift

About the role

Full-time night shift role supporting operations by moving material and inventory throughout the facility. Duties include packing, scanning, kitting, counting products, verifying orders, labeling products, and maintaining a clean, safe environment while adhering to the 7S program.

Responsibilities

• Move material and inventory using hand trucks, conveyors, or other material handling equipment
• Pack, scan, kit, or count products
• Verify orders, label products, and use a handheld scanner
• Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean environment at all times
• Work in a safe manner that protects yourself and team members

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to perform basic math calculations, with and without a calculator
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural documents

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment (preferred)
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including possible overtime when needed
• Experience using a handheld scanner (preferred)
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a team to achieve goals and objectives

Physical demands

• Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull
• Ability to handle or manage tools or equipment
• Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
