Material Handler/Loader

Safety

Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move stone slabs and materials.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse
• Secure loads using strapping, banding, and proper A-frame procedures
• Move and position materials using air lifters and mechanical equipment
• Track inventory and verify materials for accuracy and damage
• Prepare, store, and stage materials for production or shipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and equipment guidelines

Requirements

• 1–2 years of material handling or warehouse experience
• Experience with forklifts (certification a plus)
• Overhead crane experience preferred
• Familiarity with hand and power tools (table saw, chop saw, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to read measurements and handle basic math
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused mindset
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check

Qualifications

• Physical requirements: Safely lift 35–50 lbs regularly, stand and move for extended periods, perform repetitive hand and wrist movements, work in conditions with water exposure (hands/feet)
