About the Role

As a Material Handler – Level 1 you will support supply‑chain operations by managing material movement and inventory control efficiently. You will ensure timely and accurate handling of materials to meet production and customer demands. You will report to the Supply Chain Manager and work on‑site at the Danville, KY location.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, handle, and store materials in designated areas while maintaining inventory accuracy and organization.
• Support production and shipping schedules by ensuring timely material availability and movement.
• Operate material‑handling equipment safely and efficiently to transport goods within the facility.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as Procurement, Logistics, and Manufacturing to resolve material‑related issues.
• Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance material handling and inventory control operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in material handling or warehouse operations within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of inventory control principles and safe operation of material‑handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Familiarity with ERP systems or inventory management software is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to meet production and delivery schedules.

Additional Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in material handling or warehouse roles in a manufacturing setting.
• Basic knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Good problem‑solving skills and willingness to take initiative for continuous improvement.
