Material Handler Lead (Market) - 3rd Shift
About the role
Support the production process by coordinating the movement of material into, within and out to manufacturing in a timely and professional manner.
Operate a variety of equipment applicable within assigned area (i.e., CRTs, forklifts, etc.).
Execute and coordinate employee training to ensure that procedures are followed and meet all quality requirements.
Exercise high level of professionalism when responding to internal customer concerns.
Knowledge of Lean principles in order to participate in Kaizen events.
Support a continuous improvement culture engaging with team members and supervisors in problem solving and decision making.
May be required to perform additional duties as assigned.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Lead experience preferred.
- 1-3 years production work experience preferred.
- Computer experience with Windows Word, Excel, Outlook, JD Edwards and the Internet.
- Knowledge of all material flow processes.
- Knowledge of safety policies and procedures, and ability to promote compliance with them.
- Able to achieve high productivity by reliable and punctual attendance.
- Able to conduct operator training on standard work to include work instructions, product quality, company and value stream policies and procedures as required.
- Able to adapt to rapidly changing business circumstance and have the ability to thrive in a constantly changing business environment.
- Able to function in a high stress, high pressure environment, with a positive attitude.
Qualifications

Pay
Pay Transparency: nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range: $23.90 - $44.40 Per Hour
Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
