Responsibilities

• Operates various powered industrial trucks (Reach Truck, Cherry Picker, Sit-Down Forklift, Electric Pallet Jack) to pick customer orders and convey orders to packing station or shipping area.
• Operates order picker equipment or stand-up forklift to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets.
• Utilizes warehouse systems such as Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Verifies stock availability and audits orders for accuracy.
• Conveys picked orders to packing station or shipping area.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Follows standard operating and safety procedures.
• Keeps area safe, clean, and organized.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent experience.
• Certified Sit-Down Forklift Operator.
• 3 or more years of previous distribution/warehouse experience.
• Minimum of 6 months previous stand-up forklift or order picker equipment experience.
• Dal-Tile certification to operate powered industrial trucks.

Working Conditions

• Regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms.
• Required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• May be required to sit, climb, or balance occasionally.
• May lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
• Average picks per hour: 25, with average weight between 40-70 lbs (heavier picks of 50-70 lbs constitute 65% of the work shift; lighter items of 20-40 lbs constitute 35%).
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
• Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
• Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
• May be exposed to a wide range of temperatures.
• Noise level is usually loud.
• Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Pay

Entry Rate: $22.95
3 Month Rate: $24.80

Schedule

1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:45 PM
