Material Handler II (Water Spider) (62085)

People

• Work with department personnel
• Work with Material Handlers & Expeditors
• Work with Team Leads & Supervisors
• Maintain no more than 1 current corrective action
• Maintain less than 24 attendance points to maintain role

Safety

• Daily inspection of any equipment that’s used to move material
• Maintain 5S to ensure cleanliness and part presentation
• Utilize hand trucks, hoist, powered industrial trucks, and other material handling equipment

Quality

• Non-conforming material is clearly identified and processed within 48 hours
• Perform daily location audits
• Fill carts or workstations to appropriate level of inventory
• Perform cycle counts & other inventory management functions within assigned department

Delivery

• Must be able to work overtime with little or no notice
• Must be able to move material in standard time allowed
• Maintain parts identification throughout delivery process
• Ensure parts pick lists submitted by end of shift

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience
• High school diploma or equivalent

Skills & Abilities

• RF Scanner
• Forklift certification
• Blueprint reading

Working Conditions

• Standing and/or walking for extended periods of time
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch
