Material Handler II - Phoenix, AZ

About the role

The Material Handler position is dedicated to maintaining uninterrupted production flow by managing the movement of materials necessary for production. Responsibilities include accurate inventory transactions for materials stored and transferred to the production line.

Responsibilities

• Maintain uninterrupted production flow by managing the movement of materials for production use.
• Provide accurate inventory transactions for materials placed into storage and/or transferred to the production line.
• Work in a moderate to fast-paced environment, performing repetitive tasks while adhering to established quality standards within the allotted time and workspace.
• Report directly to the department manager or the respective group/line leader for assignments and assistance.
• Work a normal schedule from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or stockroom environment, or technical schooling in related areas, and/or any approved equivalent combination of experience, technical training, and/or education.
• Ability to read and understand work documents and communicate information clearly to coworkers and manager, providing accurate information on specific forms, reports, and logs.
• Preferred: Forklift certification and ERP experience, preferably Oracle, and cycle counting experience.
• Must possess mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand work processes.
• Must have the ability to use both hands for manipulating, handling, and inspecting required items.
• May be required to move, pull, lift, and horizontally transfer product weighing up to 50 pounds unaided.

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $38,041 - $60,865
