Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move materials within or near production facility or warehouse.
• Maintain adequate supply of materials (resin, packaging, inserts, bags, labels, etc.) at all running machines as called out on the job “Pick List.”
• Ensure correct paperwork is completed for any movement of materials, including lot number control for material tracking (especially regrind).
• Clean and load all hoppers as required at setup.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping to avoid contamination of materials.
• Set machine dryers according to correct drying conditions for each material.
• Monitor, clean, and change necessary filters at machine hoppers, hopper loaders, and machine loaders (minimum once per day).
• Move finished goods to the warehouse or designated location and accurately complete required paperwork.
• Mark all hoppers, gaylords, boxes, and other containers accurately with material identification, quantity, and date as necessary.
• Mix color concentrates, foaming agents, regrind, etc., at the correct “let down ratio” to meet job requirements.
• Perform other duties and assignments as directed by management.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Basic understanding of the injection molding process (preferred).
• At least 6 months of experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing setting (preferred).
• Previous materials handling experience.
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
• Good problem-solving and time management skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally loud.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM.

Pay

$21 – $26 per hour.
