Environmental Conditions

- PPE required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, etc.)
- Warehouse environment with varying temperatures:
- Room temperature: 59–86°F
- Cold-room: 36–46°F
- Freezer-room: -4 to -23°F
About the Role
To provide shipping, receiving, storage, and order fulfillment services for finished goods, inventory, materials, supplies, parts, and equipment at the assigned facility(s).
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, sort, arrange, count, store, and correctly process items for storage and/or shipment in accordance with established procedures and customer requirements while sustaining a high level of quality.
- Receive materials and/or finished goods daily, verifying quality, type, amount, and appropriate documentation (e.g., packing list).
- Safely operate distribution equipment as required.
- Complete Thermo Fisher Scientific training requirements and operate within all ISO standards pertaining to site Distribution, including Control of Documents and Quality Policy.
- Interact effectively with internal personnel, requiring good communication and customer service skills.
- Maintain strong attendance and punctuality.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 0–2 years of related experience; logistics experience with a life science company preferred.
- Ability to consistently and independently follow policies, procedures, and instructions to meet schedules.
- Ability to operate powered industrial trucks at various heights.
- Basic computer skills to navigate ERP systems, Outlook, and shipping software.
Pay
Hourly pay range for this position based in California: $15.85–$23.77.
