Material Handler II

Primary Responsibilities

• Cook up and monitor outbound shipments to guarantee on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain precise shipping records and documents.
• Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure efficient shipping operations.
• Prepare shipping documents, like bills of lading and customs paperwork.
• Solve shipment issues such as delays, damages, or document discrepancies.
• Drive shipping accuracy and operational excellence through proactive communication and follow-up.

Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training And Competencies

• Experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse operations, material handling, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle numerous priorities.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of shipping processes, documentation, and material movement.
• Experience using shipping software, warehouse systems, and related tools.
• A detail-oriented mindset with a dedication to accuracy and follow-through.
• A collaborative approach and capability to construct strong working relationships across teams.
• A passion for supporting operational success and delivering excellent service.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment and utilize computer systems for inventory transactions and reporting.

Compensation And Benefits

• The base pay for this position starts at $18.35 per year, contingent upon the geographical location.
