About the role
The Gund Company is seeking a Full-time Material Handler II to join our first shift team at our St. Louis, MO manufacturing plant. This role is ideal for someone with 5+ years of forklift operation and material handling experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, store, pull, and stage materials for fabrication.
- Verify documentation, match packing slips, and resolve discrepancies.
- Handle HAZCOM/HAZMAT materials according to guidelines.
- Pull and stage materials based on FIFO and production schedules.
Requirements
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage processes from start to finish.
- A genuine curiosity to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Qualifications
Experience in a manufacturing environment is required. Demonstrated ability to take a process from quote to delivery is necessary. A genuine curiosity and desire to become the best in your field is also important.
