Material Handler II

About the role

Performance Health is looking for energetic, collaborative team members to join our growing Distribution team in Indianapolis. As a Material Handler, you will work within a team to safely move product to desired locations, completing all assigned tasks productively with a high regard for quality. You must be certified and consistently operate a Reach Truck and/or Order Picker for 75% of your shift daily.

Responsibilities

• Stock pick locations, pick orders via WMS tool, and move any other material as needed
• Properly pick the correct quantity and product per the WMS tool
• Collaborate with supervisors of different functional areas to determine work center needs and ensure adequate materials are available
• Verify proper inventory at work centers by cycle counting
• Put away finished stock for shipment into the required locations within the DC
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Rotate incoming and existing materials to ensure FIFO requirements
• Ensure all raw materials are labeled properly with appropriate required information
• Organize and maintain the accuracy of inventory
• Maintain and update necessary paperwork
• Maintain the DC in a neat, clean, and orderly condition
• Operate pallet jacks and forklifts as needed (must be certified and operate Reach and/or Order Picker 75% of daily shift)
• Maintain material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3+ years of distribution experience
• Strong computer knowledge and experience
• Ability to obtain OSHA-approved forklift operation license
• Strong attention to detail
• Clear communication skills
• Previous Material Handling experience preferred

Pay
